Privacy

Privacy Policy for this site.

This policy describes personal-data processing on the BMF Soluções institutional site. It does not apply to MiO, MiO4u, eMiO or EAD MiO, which have their own rules in those environments.

Controller

BMF Soluções, Rua Niterói, 2199, Rio das Ostras, RJ, Brazil, postal code 28895-642. Phone +55 (22) 98802-8267 and +55 (22) 98141-8191. Data requests: contact form, subject “Other”, or the numbers above during commercial hours.

Scope

This covers pages at bmfsolucoes.com.br (Portuguese) and bmfsolucoes.com.br/en/ (English), including the contact form. The Brand Center at /bmf-brand/ and the portals mio.app.br, mio4u.app.br, emio.app.br and ead.mio.app.br are not covered by this text.

What we collect

We only ask for personal data when you submit the contact form:

  • required: name, email and message;
  • optional: company and phone;
  • subject from a closed list: MiO demonstration, eMiO, MiO4u, EAD MiO, Master Plan consulting, specialized services, support, finance or other;
  • locale of the submission (pt-BR or en), so the team knows which language to use in the reply.

A hidden field (honeypot) exists only to block automated posts. If it is filled, the message is not treated as a genuine contact. There is also a numeric confirmation sum, generated on the server, to distinguish people from automated posts. The answer is not included in the email sent to BMF.

We do not sell lists, we do not run a newsletter signup on this site, and we do not use advertising pixels.

Why we use it

We use the data to identify you, understand the request and reply: demonstration, product, Master Plan, credits/measurement/energy, support or finance, according to the subject. The legal bases are article 7 of Brazilian Law 13.709/2018 (LGPD): consent when you submit the form and, where applicable, legitimate interest in answering whoever contacted BMF.

We do not use these data for another purpose without prior notice, except where the law requires it.

How sending works

The form sends an email to BMF Soluções with the fields you filled in and the reply-to address set to the email you provided. This institutional site has no database: the message follows the company’s email flow. The server may create a PHP session (session cookie) for the numeric confirmation and to prevent repeated posts in a short interval.

The hosting and mail providers may keep usual technical logs (date, IP address, page requested) for server security and operation. That is not a BMF marketing tool on this site.

Light and dark theme

Theme preference is stored in your browser’s local storage, under the key bmf-theme, as light or dark. It is not a registration record and is not included in the contact email. See Cookies and local storage.

Sharing

The BMF team handling commercial, product, support or finance matters may see the message, according to the subject. Hosting and email providers process the send as needed to deliver it. We do not share the form with advertisers.

If you click through to Instagram or the product platforms, that service’s policy applies.

Retention

We keep the message in BMF mail for as long as needed to reply, continue the conversation and meet legal or defence obligations. This site does not define a single automatic deletion deadline for received email.

Your rights

Under the LGPD you may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, portability where applicable, information about sharing and withdrawal of consent. Use the form or the phone numbers. You may also lodge a complaint with Brazil’s ANPD.

Security and children

The site uses HTTPS. The form requires mandatory fields and discards honeypot posts. No system removes risk entirely. This institutional site is not aimed at children; do not submit minors’ data in the form.

Changes

If we change collection (for example analytics later), this page will be updated before or when that happens. The date below is the current version.
